CHEN Yingzi is a dedicated and skilled linguist currently pursuing a Master‘s in Applied English Linguistics at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, following her undergraduate studies in English at Hubei Minzu University, where she ranked in the top 10% of her major. With a solid academic foundation and practical experience in language teaching and project leadership, she has developed a broad set of skills relevant to the translation industry. Yingzi‘s career trajectory reflects her deep commitment to language and cross-cultural communication. During her time at Hubei Minzu University, she was actively involved in extracurricular and leadership roles, such as serving as the President of the School of Foreign Language Student Union and leading the university‘s dance team, where her coordination, organizational, and communication skills were further honed. She also demonstrated her leadership abilities as a team leader for multiple student projects, including an innovation project exploring the role of English majors in international Chinese language teaching. Her experience extends to practical teaching roles, including her recent work as an English teacher at Hefeng County No. 1 Senior High School, where she designed and implemented lesson plans, tutored students, and supported grading activities. Yingzi is passionate about languages other than English. She has studied Japanese and Korean specifically, which has enriched her multilingual translation skills. Throughout her academic and extracurricular pursuits, Yingzi has received numerous accolades for her performance, including multiple scholarships and awards such as the “Outstanding Student Union President” and national-level prizes in teaching and translation competitions. Her involvement in the film and television translation community, as evidenced by her third-place prize in the university‘s “Voice Dubbing” competition, further highlights her emerging translation skills. Her proficiency in both Mandarin and English, alongside certifications like TEM-8, TEM-4, and the National Teacher Qualification Certificate, positions her as a versatile translator capable of tackling a range of projects. XIE Juan, who has a passion for English and translation, was born on February 11th, 2001, in Guizhou Province, China. She graduated from the English major of Chengdu Institute Sichuan International Studies University. During this period, with her diligence, she obtained the certificates of TEM-4, TEM-8 and CATTI Level 3 translation. At present, she is a postgraduate majoring in translation and interpreting at Hubei Minzu University to further improve her professional skills.
