About the Translators:
       XU Jin, Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Tianjin University, serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Tianjin Couplet Association. She has authored one monograph (over 200,000 characters) and two translated works. As the first author or corresponding author, she has published more than ten academic papers in core journals domestically and internationally, covering fields such as international communication, American literature, and computer-assisted English language teaching. With long-term dedication to the preservation and global dissemination of traditional Chinese culture—particularly Tianjin-style cultural heritage—she is committed to promoting traditional culture abroad, amplifying China's voice on the world stage. This book is an interim outcome of the Major Project “Foundations and Methodologies of Regional and Country Studies” (Grant No. 24&ZD316) supported by the National Social Science Fund of China.
       ZHAO Jin, Master majoring in Translation at School of Foreign Languages, Tianjin University, has translated over 300,000 words across diverse texts. Passionate about literature and traditional Chinese culture, she is keen on bridging dialogues between tradition and modernity, as well as local and global contexts through translation. She is committed to construct intellectual pathways for cross-cultural understanding while preserving the philosophical essence of Chinese heritage.
